The Joy of Membership

The Garden Club accepts members from in and around Lauderdale by-the-Sea that have an interest in gardening topics and want to learn while having fun.  For questions about membership or visiting a meeting, please contact Sharon at facetsherry@hotmail.com. To join, simply submit a membership application along with the annual $35 fee.

We host monthly programs on all aspects of gardening, floral design demonstrations, honey bees and pollinator plants for Zone 10b, and other related topics by guest speakers. If you are new to the area,  join us and learn what to plant by your pool or on your balcony. Are you devotees of roses or orchids? Desert gardeners, water gardeners or both? What plants are good for shade? What plants are good in the sun?

We also host field trips, such as Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens, Flamingo Gardens, and Bonnet House Museum and Gardens, along with special programs, such as our Make-n-Take floral program, as well as community service projects.

During the summer, we host Happy Hour Luncheons and Quarterly Saturday Programming.
Note: Field trips and special educational events may require additional fees.
